The 2013 Summer Party!

Hear yee hear yee! The day is nearly upon us. The 13th day of August 2013, hereby known as the PF Meet Summer Party will see much merriment in the form of meats (and vegetables) grilled over hot coals whilst you sip flagons of ale, goblets of wine, or a soft drink if you’re that way inclined. Come on down to the The Lodge Arts Centre in Victoria Park for our 2013 summer party – incidentally, also PF Meet’s 3rd birthday!

So, what’s the haps?
4pm
We’ll be kicking off from 4pm at The Lodge Arts Centre, situated in Victoria Park Portsmouth. You’ll be greeted with a beer token which you can spend on either an ale, a beer, a wine or soft drink.
Have your drink in the cool shade of the Arts Lodge’s beautiful garden, or sit out in the sunshine in the park. There will also be some nibbles to get you started!
Note: Please bring cash as there are no card payments.
6pm
We’ll get the BBQ started. There will be burgers, sausages and vegetarian options galore, along with sides (salad, coleslaw, potato salad, etc).
We’ll also hand out some more beer tokens for everyone to quench their thirst!
7pm – Late
From 7pm we’ll get the party started! DJ Alex Stanhope will be playing some awesome tunes for you into the night. If you’re a local DJ and want to get involved, send me an email!
Prizes
There will be some opportunities to win prizes throughout the evening!
Boox will be running a business card raffle where you can win a days golfing experience!
We’ll also have some limited edition t-shirts available, designed by Bonzo Creative.

Travel
Coming from afar? Not to worry! Portsmouth & Southsea train station is just a stones throw away. If you need a taxi then you can call Aqua on 02392 654321.
Accommodation
It’ll probably be a late one so if you need to stay in Portsmouth, the closest would be the Holiday Inn in Gunwharf or the Duke of Buckingham in Old Portsmouth.
