Every year we run two big, ticketed events whereby we get over 50 freelancers and agencies from Portsmouth and the surrounding areas come along to have a good time networking and a few drinks.

The Summer Party

We hold a summer party in July or August where we get a BBQ on the go, have some drinks and usually some fun and games such as the Big Geek Quiz. It also coincides with the PF Meet Birthday, celebrating when we started back in August 2010.

The Christmas Party

The idea here is to throw a Christmas party for those of us who don’t get to have an office party. Freelancers who work from home or small agencies. Previous years we’ve had raffles, cakes, free mulled wine and a buffet.

Why we need Sponsors

The parties can’t run without the help of sponsors, who get involved either in a cash basis or by providing prizes, give aways and anything else you can think of!

The money goes towards giving our attendees at least a couple of free drinks each, food for the evening and on merchandise which we either hand out or sell at cost price.

How much do you need?

Our sponsorship packages start at £300.

What will I get for the money?

Your logo and link will be on our website for at least half a year. We also put out a blog post and mailshot about your business and involvement to our lovely freelancers (we have over 400 on our list). We’ll also put your logo on any of our printed merchandise (such as t-shirts and mugs), and you can hand out as much promotional material as you like! You’ll also get lots of love on Twitter, Facebook and at the event itself as well as our eternal gratitude.

Who can sponsor?

We like to get sponsors involved who will benefit from our target audience which is creative folk in the media industry, but we also like to make sure our attendees are also being made aware of products or companies that will benefit them to. If you think your product or business is a good fit, let us know and we’ll be happy to discuss options!
