Drink & Dribbble: Schedule, Speakers and other info!

So we’re almost a month away from Portsmouth’s first Dribbble meetup, and we’re really excited! PFmeet has teamed up with Em Meet in Emsworth to put together an afternoon/evening of talks, competitions and networking for the design community.

We have 50 people coming from all over the South (London, Southampton, Bournemouth, Plymouth, Chichester, etc). It’s all thanks to our sponsors Campaign Monitor, Krystal Hosting, Diginate, Starboard Media, No1son, Dribbble, Port 57, Shopify and Strong Island so please show them some love!

When & Where

When:  4th June 2015 starting at 4pm.
Where: The Fat Fox pub, Southsea

Schedule

4pm

Arrive for some drinks, grab a table and get set up!

5pm – 6pm

Speakers talking about various aspects of design and collaboration.

6:30pm

Buffet (there’s some veggie options in there too)

6pm – 10pm

Design competitions! We’ll be having Analog Playoffs (good old fashioned pen & paper), as well as online Dribbble playoffs, so feel free to bring a laptop (we have the Wifi sorted).

10pm – 11:30pm

Drinks, networking, music and general merriment.

Talk: Group Therapy – Collaboration, Co-working and Failure.

Karl runs Port 57 Co-working studio in Portsmouth, and will be talking about the importance of working with others, letting your guard down and using failure to your advantage.

The Prizes

We currently have an online playoff happening, and the winners will get their designs printed as stickers (courtesy of Diginate) to give out at Drink & Dribbble. Get involved and submit your rebound here.

On the night, we’ll be doing prizes for the best designs (prizes from Port 57, Strong Island, Shopify and Dribbble).

We’ll also be running a couple of Twitter competitions, so make sure you engage with the #DrinkDribbble hashtag!
