Event Terms

By attending any Portsmouth Freelancers Meet (“PFMeet”) event, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not attend.

1. About Our Events

Portsmouth Freelancers Meet is a community initiative that organises informal networking and knowledge-sharing events for freelancers and the wider creative community.


2. Code of Conduct

We want Portsmouth Freelancers Meet to be a safe, welcoming, and respectful space for everyone.
You agree not to:

  • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Market or sell aggressively to attendees without their consent.
  • Cause damage to the event venue or facilities.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave if behaviour is inappropriate.


3. Photography and Media

By attending Portsmouth Freelancers Meet events, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. These materials may be used by Portsmouth Freelancers Meet for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials.

If you do not wish to appear in photos or recordings, please inform an event organiser on the day and we will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference.


4. Liability

You attend Portsmouth Freelancers Meet events at your own risk. Portsmouth Freelancers Meet does not accept responsibility for:

  • Personal injury, loss, or damage to property during events.
  • The views or opinions expressed by attendees or guest speakers.

5. Changes and Cancellations

Event details may change at short notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees, but we are not liable for costs incurred due to cancellation or rescheduling.
