Back to normal?

As we know it’s been a tough couple of years, you don’t need me to tell you that; we’ve all been in this together. After an 18 month break I’m very happy to say that Portsmouth Freelancers Meet is returning, with our first event on Thursday 19th August 2021 at the home of PFMeet; Staggeringly Good Brewery (who have had a rather fantastic transformation whilst we’ve been away).

Does this mean things are back to normal?

Not quite! Due to things changing around, we’ll be moving PFMeet to the first Thursday of every month. The first in the series of regular events will start Thursday 7th October, and will be monthly from there on out!

There will not be a meet up in September due to my absence and I wanted to make sure I’m at least there for the first few to ensure everything runs smoothly as we get back.

Updates to the venue

We’re very excited and pleased that Staggeringly Good are happy to continue to host us – the guys there have been very busy bees over lockdown and have completely revamped the brewery and the space. It’s still in the same location, but the other side of the warehouse (if you’re looking at the Warehouse head on, it’s on the right hand side this time). They have a huge beer garden space, as well as on site wood fired pizzas by Slice to Meet You (these are amazing!).

There’s also an incredible upstairs event space and gaming arcade which we are hoping to do something fun with in the future! Here’s some photos from the recent Warehouse Festival in July where they revealed the new space.
